Remote Access to RHL Server
I have a former windows server that I cleared and installed RHL Rel 5. I managed to save the former windows server name, IP address, Subnet Mask, Def. Gateway, Pref. and Alt. DNS Server information. What I want to do is access this server remotely, it's at our data center, and learn linux.
I have googled many articles and they all seem to be saying I need Samba other articles state VNC. At the moment there's nothing on the server I need or want to share. My hope is also to install Oracle 10g. In honesty, my forte is not networking but I can follow general or specific directions.

I don't think you are using the right terms in your google search.
ssh is the best and most secure way to access a linux box remotely
VNC is awfully slow, probably an NX solution like nomachine would be better if you must have GUI access (and more secure since it uses SSH tunneling)
