    Hi all thanks for this great web site, i am new for the linux and i want to port forwarding from port 4444 to 4555 a tcp from the external ip of the router to my internal ip 192.168.1.66 i am using ubuntu 8 i wish any one could help me and thanks aloooooot for the great site and for any help.

    You can use IPTables for port forwarding, or you can implement firewall software that should allow you to to the same:

    hi ozar thanks for your answer but i didnot get alot ,please can you type for me a simple command how to FORWARD from ip 192.168.1. 254 to 192.168.1.66 from ports 4444 to 4555 a tcp and with language that i can understand and thanks for your replay>.
