hi all,

I am trying to connect my debian box to a ADSL Modem. I installed pppoeconf and configure username and password. It seems my computer connected to ISP but still cannot ping IP address and any webiste. Then I try <code>plog</code> to figure out the problem. it shows up as follows:

Plugin rp-pppoe.so loaded
pppd 2.4.4 started by aaron, uid 1000
PPP session is 3590
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> eth0
Remote message: Authentication failed
PAP authentication failed
Connection terminated

and I tried command <code>ifconfig ppp0</code> it shows up that my computer cannot find the ppp0 interface.
Can anyone help me out? Thank you.
