connecting to internet using wvdial

Hi,

I am trying to connect to Internet using Wavecome modem with Airtel GPRS connection. I am able to successfully connect and browse the Internet using wvdial. But if I use pppd, I am getting the error message as "LCP Terminated by peer".

The exact error I am getting is pasted below.

The directories in which I have saved the attached files are:
gprs-wavecom - /etc/ppp/peers
gprs-options - /etc/ppp/
gprs-wavecom-connect-chat - /etc/ppp/chatscripts

sir, I V.Gayatri Devi i am connected the ANALOGICS GPRS modem to the PC i am working in linux. sir u said that u r connecting to internet using wvdial how u did that plz tell me sir it will help in my project.

Please go through the details of "wvdialconf" command. You should be able to configure wvdial using that command.
