Executable file in NFS mounted /cad: Permission denied
I have successfully mounted the /cad dir' and the /faculty dir', both residing on the remote server (smdp2master), onto my local machines' mountpoints (/cadmaster & /cadfaculty, resp.). At least, I can read the files belonging to the hirarchies of /cad and /faculty.
But, when I try to execute a tool(mantle-a binary which was distributed by licensed s/w vendor), I get the following message:
/cadmaster/Magma_Blast_Fusion/linux24_x86_64/bin/mantle: Permission denied.
Any help to debug this proble will be highly appreciated.
