i'm having trouble connecting to samba servers while having suse firewall2 enabled. if i disable it, i can browse samba shares. i have the samba server installed too, so i can select it when configuring the firewall. if i select samba server in firewall2 configuration and enable the firewall, i'm able to browse samba shares.

however, i want to be able to browse samba shares without having the samba server enabled or even installed and at the same time have my firewall enabled.

i've tried opening ports 137-139 and 445, both udp and tcp, without success.

any ideas, anyone?
