Routing table
Give me an example of when a Network Administrator would need to modify the routing table used in/inbetween IPV4 networks connected by one router?
Would the routing table need to be modified if multiple routers are being utilized to send the information?
I have never needed to change my routing table in my router.. probably because Linux routing table is Dynamic, and because I am only using one router with 4 NIC Cards.Last edited by armshount; 02-28-2011 at 12:57 PM.

Not sure I get your point. Could you give an example when you experienced an issue with modified routes?

One example might be if your router is doing RIP only and you have netmasks that are not on 8 bit boundaries.
