    Routing table

    Give me an example of when a Network Administrator would need to modify the routing table used in/inbetween IPV4 networks connected by one router?

    Would the routing table need to be modified if multiple routers are being utilized to send the information?

    I have never needed to change my routing table in my router.. probably because Linux routing table is Dynamic, and because I am only using one router with 4 NIC Cards.

    One example might be if your router is doing RIP only and you have netmasks that are not on 8 bit boundaries.
