    NFS v4 without portmap

    Hi,

    Has anyone found any articles on getting NFS v4 working WITHOUT the portmap service?

    I've found a bunch on my google travels that say the portmap isn't required, but none that actually document how to achieve it.

    Links or advice most welcome.

    Have you tried here
    wiki.linux-nfs.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

    have you looked in /etc/initd.conf or equivalent for you OS

    You will have to add the http bit for the link I dont have enough posts for that privelige
