hi,
when i type
sudo dmesg | grep tty in terminal
i got tty0 ,ttyACM0,ttyACM1 port found.
bt when i restart the system & again type
sudo dmesg | grep ...

ACM0 & ACM1 not found
hi,
when i type
sudo dmesg | grep tty in terminal
i got tty0 ,ttyACM0,ttyACM1 port found.
bt when i restart the system & again type
sudo dmesg | grep tty in terminal
i only get tty0 open.i want ttyACM0,ttyACM1 port also to be open.
is there may b any reason for that.
plz help me

Are those ttyACM ports USB devices, by any chance? I had some devices that were USB temperature monitors and when plugged into a USB port on the computer, the character device /dev/ttyACM0 was assigned to it, but the system wouldn't create them unless "hot-plugged".
