Cannot compile iproute2
I need to set some cgroup filters with command "tc" in a cluster running CentOS5. I compiled kernel 3.0.22 and I tested it works well in a CentOS6 computer. When I try to set the filters with command
tc filter add dev eth0 protocol ip parent 1: handle 11 cgroup
I get this error:
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
We have an error talking to the kernel
I think that the problem is the old version of iproute2, but I have not successfully compiled a newer version. When I am configuring, I get this error:
IPT Package xtables was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xtables.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'xtables' found
iptables modules directory: /usr/local/lib/xtables
libc has setns: no
A lot of thanks for any help for adding the filter or to successfully compile the iproute2 suite.
