Squid Proxy With Multiple Public IPs + Rotation
Hey guys,
I need to setup squid on a linux VPS server and I have a few questions.
Would I be able to have a single public IP address that I can use in my applications on the inbound interface and when the traffic goes out, its rotated across multiple IP addresses, perhaps on a per session basis?
Alternatively, I need to load about 25x public IP addresses into my squid server and then be able to use them all in the proxy section of my application. I actually dont know which method is better.
Secondly, will the destination website/etc know that I am coming from a proxy? Is there any way to make it look like I am just coming from a home internet connection?
Thanks
I will elaborate on the setup after I get a few answers :P
Cheers
Mullet
P.S: As dodgy as this may sound, I am not doing illegal so dont worry about that :P
