    Question Squid Blocking .ZIP

    Hi

    I am confused with my squid configuration because
    i set to allow ZIP file but there is one workstation or PC1 with the IP
    address of 192.168.1.101 has not authorized to download ZIP File in any
    Website address that he/she accessed it but when i checked on the Log
    File I found this
    about applicatio/x-zip-compressed

    in my conf file:
    acl zipblockfile urlpath_regex "/etc/squid/listed/zipblock.acl"
    http_access allow zipblockfile !pc1

    1341368651.836 22599 192.168.1.101 TCP_MISS/200 2469901 GET
    //nimdaoen.easycgi.com/shared/B...01_Chipset.zip
    //nimdaoen.easycgi.com/shared/B3450N/Win7/01_Chipset.zip[/url]
    DIRECT/66.96.143.160 application/x-zip-compressed

    is there a way to block it or my conf file is not correct.

    Thanks

    I think you would be better off writing a deny policy rather than allowing "everything but". The following should do what you want:
    /etc/squid/squid.conf
    Code:
    acl banned_clients src pc1
    acl zipblockfile urlpath_regex "/etc/squid/listed/zipblock.acl"
    http_access deny banned_clients zipblockfile
