Question Backtrack 5 interface not showing up, VIRTUALBOX, usb wifi card.

    Hi all,

When i type airmon-ng in the terminal,
    no cards show up.

I have connected my usb, right click on adapter in virtualbox, connect...

Internet on host pc dissapears, so i THINK it is connected to guest linux.

    I have a : D-Link DWA-125 Wireless N 150 USB Adapter(rev.A3)

Or is the problem my card is not compitable?

    Greetings

    MightyPrefix.

PS: i tried to post this on backtrack forums but, there is trouble with logging in.

    Hi,
Is your USB WiFi card recognised in VirtualBox? Devices > USB Devices > D-Link DWA-125 Wireless N 150 USB Adapter (does it have a tick next to it?)
Is the network card listed by using the iwconfig command in a terminal

Yes it does have a tick on it.

i'l do that with the iwconfig later, because when i attach usb to the guest pc, i need to restart host pc to get my internet on the host pc back working...
    wich is kinda annoying..

    EDit: iwconfig says :

    lo no wireless extensions

    eth0 no wireless extensions
