etho transmission timed out
I get this message whenever i try to send/recieve large data files from my RedHatLinux9 server. I still didn't got cause of it.... then network card blocks out.
kernel: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
kernel: eth0: Transmit timed out, status 00000000, resetting...
What are these message? My Network card is Fealnex ethernet card.
Any help sorting out this problem is welcomed!!!

Does this only occur when you try sending large file?
what software are you using to send those files?
do you get the same behavior receiveing?
Exept for your felnex, can you post your network config as well as your distro, kernel...

Details abt network card
Hi! Happy New Year !!
I observed that the message echos itself nearly when memory uses are high. This is p4 machine, with Fedora3 and Oracle 9i installed. Kernel version is 2.6.9
