iptable 2 nics and samba
Hello im a volunteer net admin for a non profit senior center and im stuck with a problem, i have a hp proliant server with 2 nics eth0 is connected to westel modem (dmz) and eth1 is connected to lan 192.168.1.0/24 i i cant get the computers to see the server they can ping it but cant connect to samba shares and i need to enable both nics to talk to eackother i have tried every tutorial i can find but no luck im hoping someone here can help

In order for traffic to pass through the 2 nics you must enable FORWARD. As to the samba shares you did not say where they are located. On the system you are using as a gateway or another system. You also did not state if you have the firewall turned on or not.
