    Since your kernel is older, it might not work, BUT getting a newer Kernel isn't something you have to be scared of... If it doesnt work as is, I suggest you download the required kernel source and recompile the one you have...

    Dont hesitate to ask if you arent sure of the way to do thing before (if ever you go there) recompile your kernel... simply open another thread, and ask the questions... we'll gladly give a hand

    56 Kb/s driver for d-link modem with conexant hsf chipset in ubuntu 5.10 2.6.12-9-38

    i have a d-link modem with conexant hsf chipset

    i finde adriver for linux on http://www.linuxant.com but it is 14Kb/s and i coulden't browse internet as i want

    i want a full 56 Kb/s driver

    i use ubuntu 5.10 with 2.6.12-9-386 kernel

    please help me as soon as possibel
