    NFS Server: Selectively serve certain NFS directories


    Hello:

    Is there a way to disable / enable a select few NFS served folder(s) (from the server side) ?

    e.g., enable/disable certain one or two from the /etc/exports list.

    You can specify, per-share, where you want to share to.

    something like this...
    Code:
    /share/one        machine1.local machine2.local
    /share/two        192.168.2.0/24
    which would share by machine name or ip address

    I would like something a little different.
    For a period of time, I do not want to share everything in my /etc/exports file
    I realize that I could bring down NFS and bring it back up with a different exports file, but I was wondering if there is anything more dynamic/graceful.

    Take a look at the command:

    exportfs -r
