Nameservers change, propagation on Linux server

Hello, i have VPS node server where i have a few virtual private servers.

I registered nameservers and changed one domain nameservers to these new.

Some whois sites (who.is, whoismind.com) already registered change and i can see correct new nameservers and its IPs.

    BUT:

on my VPS it seems change did not yet promoted:

    nslookup mydomainname.com

    still shows:
    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: mydomainname.com
    Address: oldiphere

Can this old ip be cached anywhere on VPS node or on VPS?
Its strange for me that these sites like who.is, whoismind.com shows it updatted, but linux tool like nslookup not?

    intoDNS.com shows:
    NS1.mydomainname.com. ['newip'] [TTL=7200]
    NS2.mydomainname.com. ['oldip'] [TTL=7200]

    its strange

When you do a lookup the first thing checked is the cache. If the entry is there that is what is presented at time of lookup.
These other lookup site do not cache answers so they do a fresh lookup every time.

    Thank You, so i assume

    service nscd status
    etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart
    or
    nscd -i hosts

may clear the cache. it appears my nscd was stopped before restart:

    Stopping nscd: [FAILED]
    Starting nscd: [ OK ]
