How do I log into my Cox wireless router?

It's a netgear wireless cable gateway cg3000d and I keep trying routerlogin or some IP adress thing but nothing comes up! Their is no software on my computer, the Cox technician just plugged it in and that was it. I'm doing this because Xbox Live keeps telling me about a NAT type being moderate and I have to change that in my router. Please help!

Most routers I've had you open a web browser and go to the gateway's IP address typically the .01. Most routers need a user name and password whoever setup your router should of had you set it or told you the default.

Well now all of a sudden it's working. I left my router/modem off for an hour because I didn't try that yet. Maybe that did it? It wasn't working before.
