    You can't.

Most Windwos wifi drivers are closed source - you can perhaps look at the network traffic (google up 'Wireshark') but you can't really work out if the driver is broken or not. Warning here - some closed source wireless drivers for Windwos have been tested, but not always up to the high standards that Windwos itself is given. Sometimes the drivers are written by 3rd parties with the brief to just 'make it work'.

You could also check for network interference - either from a non-network device such as a cordless telephone or electrical wiring, or due to a close-by wireless router owned by someone else. Log into your router and flip it to a different wireless channel see if that makes things better.

Also, check what she means by 'losing wireless access' - I've been on some online game sites which lose the connection over my wireless link despite my wifi connection remaining strong. If this is happening, then it could be the remote end being overloaded.

    hello dear Roxoff,

many many thanks for the in depth going advices and hints.

allready had a peek view on wireshark

Well i need to know what kind of "down-Time" she has.

your explanation bout the game-sites are very interesting. Probably the issues are similar (despite the fact that she does not use gaming sites)

i will do further checks and talks

and probably i can convince here to get a nice linux like opensuse or ubuntu or debian

many thanks for all you did!
