    INstalling xerces-c


    Hello,

    I am trying to install xerces-c. i keep getting depencies

    error: Failed dependencies:
    java-gcj >= 1.5.0 is needed by xerces-j2-0:2.7.1-12.7.el6_5.x86_64
    libgcj_bc.so.1()(64bit) is needed by xerces-j2-0:2.7.1-12.7.el6_5.x86_64
    xml-commons-resolver >= 1.1 is needed by xerces-j2-0:2.7.1-12.7.el6_5.x86_64


    i tried to locate the correct Java to Download, but i cannot find a way to fix my issue. anyone have an idea?

    gcj is the gnu compiler for java.

    You'll get more complete help if you fill in details such as your platform and how you are doing the install.

    it was a santiago 6.5 RHE. i was doing RPM install, but found ended up connecting to an internal respitory and did a yam install. and it worked, but i broke my network settings somehow. i am going to post in the networking thread to get some support.
