    downloaded web pages



    hi john is my name and i am a newbie ,question when i go to a web
    site in windows it is downloaded to my hard drive then later i go to the control panel find those pages and delete them ,how do you delete them in linux and where are they stored?

    depends on what browser, but you will find it in most of them in EDIT>PREFERENCES
    NAVIGATOR>history
    more stuff in
    PRIVACY SECURITY
    and
    ADVANCED
