Clustering
Heya!
I just had a job oportunity, but for that I need to set up a cluster using 6 desktop PCs.
Hardware:
6 x AMD Athlon 64Bit
6 x 1GB DDR 533MHZ
12 x 200GBs Hitachi HD.
6 x Matrox Parphelia
Possible RAID using SATA or SCSI
Gigabyte Mobos(Don't know the model)
Cisco Switch and Router.
Software:
Slackware 10.0 or Solaris(prolly) - Depending on budget
And a machine in Win XP to use Maya and 3DS Max 5.
As I don't know almost anything about clustering.. .I was wondering if anyone cares to point me out some links or eBooks for me to get some input!
Thanks in advance!

check this
http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/
ive only used distcc, the closest thing to clustering I've done, but this seems pretty popular.

OpenMosix is kernel-level, making it ideal for distributing *everything*.
