I need to find a extrnal modem with "modem on hold" feature.
I only have one telephone line so I want a modem that will diconnect when a call comes in.
There are a few Linux supported modems that will do this.
The only ones that I have found are these:
  • Diamond SupraMax External - (Serial) 56K Modem Part Number: 90500031
  • Best Data 56K V.92 External Serial Modem Model: 56SX-92


In both case it states that they support Linux and have the Modem on Hold feature. I was wondering if you have either of these modem and if you use the above mention feature.

Or do you know of any other modem that works this way
