Wireless access point
I'm trying to make a wireless access point out of my Slackware box. I was thinking to plug my card an configure it as access point so I can connect to Internet with my laptop trough it. Any advices becauce I' m a bit new to wireless? I know there's rc.wireless in /etc/rc.d, but what do I have to change?

well the way to do this is to run as ad-hoc (though some wireless cards wont run ad-hoc in linux)

in hotels where i stay if i dont want to pay for wireless access i just find a windows box running ad-hoc and share his connx shhhhh!~Mike ~~~ Forum Rules
