    Soon i will have 1 Mandrake PC, 2 winxp, and one winME(hahaha(not mine)), and im looking to set a LAN up between all four. Is this going to be possible, and f so, how tricky is it going to be. When the time comes can i count on some expert advice?!?!

    This is possible. I also have my private network (1 PC and 2 laptops). But you will have to use Samba to share files between Windows and Linux. You can ask for help I'll be glade to help you.
