    XDMCPconnection failed


    Hi,
    i am trying to connect to Linux machine through xbrowser in windows machine.bu tiam getting XDMCP Connection failed.
    pls tell me how to solve this

    on the computer that you're trying to connect to the XDMCP server for, have you got a firewall on there? That could be blocking ports meaning that the client cant get a session.

    What distro are you using?

    XDMCPconnection failed

    iam able to connect through xmanager to that machine.but if iam running any GUI applications on the server,it is taking so long time.I thought X browser can solve this problem.but iam not able to connect because XDMCP failure.
    YES,the machine is behind a firewall,but iam able to connect to other machines whcih are behind firewall.Wat could be problem with this machine.

    Pls suggest me
