Hi

I hate to say it as everyone does but i am new to linux. I am running Suse 9.2 and am trying to allow linux to share my network within a domain. So in turn see the network is running and setup Evolution to use our exchange mailbox.

Anyways i have looked at a few tutorials about setting up Samba client and server but they don't seem to work. I can ping the linux box from a workstation which is on the Domain and vice versa. As far as i can see its to do with the SMBD not running as SWAT says in the status window? any ideas on how to get it running, i have enabled it in the runlevel editor?

If you need any information posted i can do?
