Problems with Redhat on windows Network

Ok, heres my problem.

I recently installed redhat 7.3 on a lab computer for testing purposes, but after the network settings are set it cannot browse the internet.

Wierd thing is that i can ping out of the building but i cannot retrive information. Im not sure if its a problem with the firewall or if its a problem with the windows network that we run in this building.

Could the windows network prevent me from surfing the internet because i do not have the option to get WINNS because its not windows?

If anyone has any idea that could help me i would be greatly appriciated.

Sounds like the Firewall might be blocking you. Check with your Administrator
