I'm having issues trying to get my 80211 Microsoft Wireless USB adapter working with the network we have. The network has a linksys router (model No. BEFW11S4) and uses DHCP to assign IP addresses. My computer is running FC3 with kernel version 2.6.11.9_FC3. I'm running wlan-ng-0.2.1-pre26. Currently I believe I have the actual adapter working, because I can ping one of the other machines in the house which uses the same adapter. I cannot however, connect to the router. I've run dhclient and it recieves no offers, and using ifconfig to set a ip address doesn't help either. Basically at this point I'm throughly stuck. Any one have any suggests? I'd appreciate anything.
