dial up modem configuration
1. I hope there's no concept of "dialling" in ADSL modems. they should b always on. but My ISP has provided a ADSL modem & asks me to dial up using "username and passwd" to get connected to internet.
2. but, in any case, how to configure a dial up modem in fedora core -2 ?

point 2. In Fedora you will find, within either Gnome or KDE an internet connection wizzard. This will take you through the steps required.
Or, you can open up kppp and do it handraulically (made up word, so don't search for it in the dictionary
