I'm a newbie linux user, and decided I'd rather go wireless on my spare desktop instead of running twenty feet of cable across my bedroom and office. I've had nothing but bad luck trying to get any form of wireless card to work with SuSE 9.1, either on my laptop, or this desktop. I recently picked up a Netgear wg311v2 card, but now see, it's not the easiest to get working.

I'm envisioning a world where I can install a wireless card and linux will auto configure it. If such a world exists, what distro and/or wireless card would that be? Any distro that works with my current wireless card?

Thanks-
Brian
