    Motorola SB4104 cable modem help please

    Well recently today installed Linux Slackware 9.0 and its all good n all but i have problems working my modem
    Now it Recognizes the modem in kppp but i dont know what to do other than that
    im new to all this stuff and i really dont want to piss fart around buying a ethernet card n such just to get modem to work in linux
    So help will be great, thanx

    I don't know the answer to your question but if you look here at http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO/ it may have the answer your looking for your linux and hardware question. This is the site slackware.com uses as its guide for hardware.
