    Server/Sendmail


    hey all,

    I was wondering if there are any tutorials on how to setup my linux box so that my other computers can talk to it. Also I was wondering if there are any basic tutorials on how to setup sendmail. Thanks.

    What do you mean by talk to it? And what OS do these other machines run?

    Talk to it as in, send/receive files from it.

    Computer 1: Windows XP Home
    Computer 2: Windows ME
    Laptop 1: Windows 2000 Professional
    Laptop 2: Windows 98SE
    Laptop 3: Windows 98SE

    you are goin to need Samba to access share between windows and linux but rh9 comes with it already installed all you ahve to do is configure it.
    chapter 17 is about samba i didnt see anything about send mail in there tho
