i want to connect to the radhat 9 from exceed8, i did almost everything i can , but , still failed , i have already connect from exceed 8 to Solaris , and i want add one redhat9 connection to the exceed .

i did the following on the radhat 9 :
vi /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess ,and make change:
#*#any host can get a login windows=>* #any host can get a login windows

vi /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config , and make change isplay Manager .Requestport 0 => ! Display Manager .Requestport 0

vi /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf , and make change :[xdmcp] enable=false =>[xdmcp] enable=true ;

vi /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc , and make change : [xdmcp] enable=false =>[xdmcp] enable=true

vi /etc/inittab ; change the default running level to 5

and i did the following to the exceed:
XDMCP broadcast

failed , plz help me ! thanks in advance
