greetings all

i am using iptables v1.3.1 and i have 2 ethernet cards fixed on my machine. i dont know how to set my iptables up, i have tried a number of valid commands and they dont give any error but i am still unable to do packet forwarding and filtering.

i want to redirect incoming packet from (machine 1)192.168.1.116 (destination any) to (machine 2) 192.168.1.25 on port 53. and redirect packet from 192.168.1.25 to 192.168.1.116, both using a middle machine acting as a gateway (machine 3).

I have set up gateway address of both machines(1 & 2) so that they should pass through the gateway machine on which iptables are running.

please help me as i am really stuck on it.
