Is there any way at all?
For me to get my Laptop with a microsoft Wireless b notebook adapter running mandrake 10.0 to connect to my network? I doubt this is possible, but I would love to see some sort of..'process'...that would enable this. I just wanna be able to browse the internet in Linux in my backyard. I would definitely be willing to switch distros if needed.
Thanks!

I am currently using SuSE Pro 9.3 on my centrino laptop. It can configure my wireless setup effortlessly. You should try giving it a shot.

You can try checking out ndiswrapper. There's a list of wireless cards that are supported (not sure what ones off the top of my head), which you can check if yours is in that list.
Here's the link: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m....php/Main_Page
Hope you get it working.
