    No, he means an application that simulates a router, I used the official (from Cisco) a few times when studying for the CNAP course.

    I found one on the web as a Java plugin a few years back, so try searching for that..

    I'm looking for a Linux platform - cisco router simulator as well
    There's this bonson app but i can't get it work on Linux - with Wine .. it gives me an err - while tryin' to start it .... and i really don't want to install a copy of winblows only for this simulator ...

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
