Is there any command that would suit my purpose
now what i am trying to do to eliminate them is like this

all the computer names have a $ character at the end..
i am checking if the last character is a $ and then removing it off from my list

but this logic has a problem in the sense that... a user can be added at the ADS side with $ as the last character also....

getent passwd will list this user also... but the net user command will not list the user eventhough it is not a computer name...
