The HD of my leptop (cenoli64) crashed and can not be recovered. No problem I had a backup (.tar.gz) on another machine (cenoli46). From cenoli46 I put my backup using sftp on cenoli46 instead of cenoli64 and the disaster occurs!!!! My backup (backup.tar.gz) has been overwritten by an empty file!!! Disaster!!!!
Therfore: 1) Be careful with sftp
2) If any of you know how to recover this backup, please help me. I would really appreciate!
