    Anyone used xsupplicant or wpa_supplicant?


    I'm having trouble connecting to my school's wireless network, someone suggsted these programs. NOt sure exactly what is wrong, but I'm willing to answer questions If anyone knows how to use them, or Im also open to suggestions of distros that work well with it.

    Yes, I do use wpa_supplicant for my home network, works perfectly with SuSE 9.3 (comes included on DVD and Yast takes care of configuring it), what exactly is the problem you are having?

    nevermind, i finally got it working. i was using the wrong phase2 authentication
