which driver supports ad-hoc mode wlan?
hi everybody,
I am using RH9 (2.4.22) , and trying to setup wlan on my desktop for ad-hoc mode.
i'll be using PCI card and was going through MADwifi driver README. there I found that it has poor support for ad-hoc mode. I am confused as which driver will support the ad-hoc mode properly , plz help me out.

if you get madwifi driver running, just do a iwconfig <card name> mode Ad-Hoc, to get into ad-hoc mode. The mode and other stuff are set by the wireless-tools package, if you have trouble with madwifi, try ndiswrapper.
If you have a router/access point, then it should be set to managed mode.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
