I just switched to Linux (redhat 9.0), but i cant get my D-LInk DFE-530TX Rev. C to work on it....

Firstly I tried to configure the driver from the cd that came along with the card.. The steps are:
1)create a temp dir
# mkdir /temp
2) change to temp
# cd /temp
3) Copy driver into the temp dir
4) untar the file
# tar xzvf dlkfet-4.16.tar.gz
# cd dlkfet-4.16
5) Now compile the driver files uding #make intsall
(i compiled the files and it gave me the file "rhinefet.o")
6) now add the following line "alias eth0 rhinefet"
in /etc/modules.conf (also done)
6) now copy the file to the /lib/modlues/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/
and insert the module using the command # insmod rhinefet
(copied the file and moved to the folder using
cd /lib/modlues/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/)
but when i used the #insmod rhinefet command it gave the following error

"Using /lib/modlues/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/rhinefet.o: init_modlue: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg"

Then i visited the D-Link website and found out that the via-rhine.o in the /lib/modlues/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/ folder also contains the driver so i replaced the previous "alias eth0 rhinefet" with "alias eth0 via-rhine"
in /etc/modules.conf and did then to restore the original driver i did #make uninstall and then #insmod via-rhine but it gave out an error:

"Using/lib/modlues/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/ :via-rhine.o
:unresolved symbols : mii-ethtool-gset-Raeb9c2b4
:unresolved symbols : mii-nwayl-restart-R9d437993
:unresolved symbols : mii-link-ok-R633bd7b9
:unresolved symbols : mii-ethtool-sset-Rc366593c"

Due to this problem i cant connect to the internet ... Has any one here succeded in intalling this DFE-530TX card? ANy advice ??
