try typing (as root):
Code:dhcpcd <network device>

I've got ehternet card & external cable modem connected to it....
I've succsesed configure the eth0 & lan....but...
I , seems like, have to reach my provider via modems gateway....
Finnaly... I can't reach the provider...... to log to.....
eth0 & modem lan connection works properly...

Do you have a patch cable connected from the cable modem to the NIC in the pc you're working with? Try typing "dhclient" at the command line. What do you get?
