    Squid and authentification

    I hav a problem .

    I have a server connected to net and i hav to make users go thru it for accessing the net . I hav to put a firewall in it

    i hav to authenticate the users before they can access any sites . Heard that using squid we can authenticate using LDAP . or IMAP.

    PLease tell me hopw exactly i go abt. I have never used SQUID before and its a large no. of users that we have

    read squid manual

    Dear

    We need to configure squid and that is a big way to go...

    So try reading the maual pages of squid......the squid.conf file holds all the things which is required to configure squid as u wanted.
