Smalll network problem
When connecting to my university network it won't initially connect, i have found that restarting booting into windows then shutting down and booting back into linux works. However just rebooting straight back into linux doesn't??????
I'm running SuSE 9.3 on an Acer Aspire 5002LM, YaST says i have a SIS PCI Fast Ethernet.

Update: found out that u have to acess the internet under windows before rebooting into linux for the network to function. Any ideas why this is happening?
