Wireless card questions (madwifi website is down)
Madwifi.org is down and I can't check compability list right now.
Anybody knows if IBM 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter II (Chipset: Atheros AR5004X) works out-of-box? I need WPA2 or at least WPA support.
TIA!

Firstly, don't double post.
I don't know if FC comes with the madwifi drivers, but I can't be sure. But in SUSE, the 5004G (I think) card works out of the box.
Now for wpa, read up about a program called wpa_supplicant, I don't know if it supports wpa2, bu normal wpa works quite happily with it.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.

Re: Wireless card questions (madwifi website is down)
yep it is how ever you will need the madwifi source code and compile it, so to allow a supplicant to have madwifi support
