very newbie network question..on how to see winodws machine from linux and vica versa..
guys ..we have 4 computer machine..sharing the same adsl modem..we all log to teh net i don't know how..the problem i want to see one of the other machine..
let my machine is 'A'..and another machine is 'B".
i want A to see the shared folders on B ,write to them..and vica versa...
i have made search and i think i must use something called samba....is that right?and if so should i install it on one machine which has linux only?

Yes your right - you need Samba on the Linux box
Theres loads of tutorials on [ur]www.google.com[/url] - have a look at a few and it should help you on your way
