Remote monitoring
hi all,
is it possible to do remote monitoring if i'm using pc A and i would like to monitor the actual perform by pc B without install any of the software at the pc B?Proper Planing is a way of success

I'm not sure what monitoring you are looking to do, but if you have a web server running on the machine to be monitored, you can put your favorite linux commands in a perl script in a password protected directory. Then you can do at least some checking remotely via a web browser.

if you havea web server installed on pc a ( such as apache ) then yes you can install a script like phpsysinfo and you can view the info of pc a from pc b's web browser.

You can do remote monitoring with SNMP (application layer protocol)-it's a great protocol (look at http://www.snmplink.org/).
