SAMBA Setup
Problems! I attempted to setup SAMBA in FC4 and I can't access the "server" through my windows computers. I have looks up and down google and read 10,000 tutorials. All are a no go! Thanks again!

What error/s does it give. Also, have you looked at this tutorial?

ok,if all done,did u check the firewall settings of your server .

I do have the same problem. whenever some one tries to access my pc. My server says connection refused. I do not have firewall installed.

Can you post your smb.conf? The problem is probably caused by a minor configuration issue...

naga123, check out the link I posted before.
Also can you ping from both PC's successfully? And have you added a samba user on the server?Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
